There is way too much abundance of beauty and detail in this world for humans to not show it off and what better way to admire the world than to replicate its’ beauty through art? Painting is my way of expressing creativity and admiring the simplicities of nature. Why else would this world be so detailed and beautiful if we were not meant to admire the fallen leaves on an Autumn day or the many hairs that layer an animal’s coat?

Robin Lemon, a European poet from Germany, wrote “There is art in your heart,” in her recent poem, “You Are A Masterpiece”. I believe this line not only was directed towards those with an artistic mind like myself, but to anyone who claims they do not have an ounce of artistic ability in them. No matter the form, (music, sculpting, photography, animation, drawing, architecture, painting, calligraphy, dancing etc.) art appears in everyone. I am so thankful I have discovered a whole new world full of creativity, color, and brushes.
