As a child, I would visit my grandmother’s house and stand in awe of her paintings and artistic ability. She would show me picture after picture of docked boats, flowers in meadows, and lodges covered in snow that she painted herself. I could not help but wonder if I had her same talent or ability.

       I was soon inspired to try drawing myself and before I knew I was buying empty canvases and creating my own art to portray the world around us. I have taken the ability to create art into my own hands and experimented with various mediums such as watercolor, pastels, sketching, and acrylics. I have developed a true fascination for painting animals such as dogs, cats, rabbits, giraffes, parrots, and a sea turtle, my personal favorite. I am so thankful I was given the ability to enjoy and flourish my passion for art and I cannot wait to see where my paintbrush takes me next!
